Celebrating Europe Day in New York 🇪🇺

The European Union will always hold a special place in my professional journey. It has been at the heart of my doctoral and postdoctoral research, where I explored its politics, law and multilateral engagement.

Seeing its values and principles represented here in New York—within the broader UN family—reminds me why I chose this field: to understand and promote cooperation across borders. From the negotiating table to the celebration hall, the EU remains a powerful example of how dialogue and shared vision can turn diversity into unity.

Grateful to the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations for the kind invitation and for hosting such a warm and festive celebration of Europe Day. Most importantly, thank you for bringing a piece of Europe’s spirit to New York.
