Summit of the Future (#SotF) 🇺🇳

As we near the #HighLevelWeek of the United Nations General Assembly (#UNGA79 🇺🇳), the Summit of the Future (#SotF) Action Days kicked off this morning and will continue through tomorrow, bringing together representatives from public and private sectors to engage in discussions on digital and technology, peace and security, and sustainable development and financing. 

Starting this Sunday, the #SummitoftheFuture is a high-level event bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how we deliver a better present and safeguard the future. It will produce an inter-governmentally negotiated, action-oriented Pact for the Future with chapters on:

▶ Sustainable development and financing for development;

▶ International peace and security;

▶ Science, technology and innovation and digital cooperation;

▶ Youth and future generations; and

▶ Transforming global governance.

The Summit will also produce a Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations, which will be annexed to the Pact.
