UN Games 2026 Football Tournament

This summer, I contributed to the UN Games 2026 as a Communications Volunteer, supporting the football tournament through photography, social media and visual production.
Throughout the tournament, I captured the action on and off the pitch, produced visual content and helped showcase the teams, players and moments that made the competition a celebration not only of sport, but also of teamwork, diversity and unity within the UN community.
One of the highlights of this experience was producing a recap video of the football tournament, bringing together some of its most memorable moments. The video was screened during the UN Games 2026 Closing Ceremony at United Nations Headquarters in New York, offering participants and guests a final look back at the competition.
Alongside the World Cup, the tournament also provided an opportunity to highlight the connection between football and the values promoted by the United Nations, including through the Football for the Goals initiative and its commitment to using the global reach of football to advance awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals.
My involvement with UN football will continue throughout fall 2026, as I remain part of the communications team covering UN soccer activities, including the fall league, through photography, social media and visual storytelling.
